She loves putting energy towards serving deal-minded shoppers, whether that’s creating content, finding ways to reach new users, or introducing innovative technology to users.
Bargain-Hunting Background
When Heather heard about how her aunt started saving insane amounts of money by strategically using coupons, she was incredulous — and intrigued. Once her local grocery store offered deals she couldn’t resist, she grabbed her best friend to tag along. In their first week of couponing, they spent $70 — and saved more than $700. She was hooked on couponing from then on.
Heather’s new hobby helped the Wheelers pay off $85,000 of debt while living only on a teacher’s salary. She loved the thrill of figuring out complex couponing transactions, and then simplifying what she learned for anyone who would listen.

To date, Heather — who considered herself “non-technical” when she started KCL — is most proud of The Krazy Coupon Lady app, which she dubs “the best tool for couponing on the market.”
She still loves teaching couponing classes to beginners and is the go-to instructor for the ever-growing number of employees KCL hires. Heather also enjoys being able to make a difference in the lives of local refugees through the KCL Foundation.
