For the Fourth of July, national restaurants and stores offer free and discounted food.
From sit-down restaurants, to fast-food joints, to convenience stores, plenty of businesses celebrate U.S. Independence Day on (and around) the Fourth of July by offering free and cheap desserts, drinks, and sides. Some restaurants offer extra reward points, while others give discounts when you spend a certain amount.
Independence Day happens every year on the Fourth of July.
Although the Fourth of July is always on the, ahem, Fourth of July, the sales and deals often extend beyond just Independence Day. But you’ll want to circle Thursday, July 4, 2024, as the epicenter of Independence Day deals.

This year, watch for a free Slurpees (week-long) offer for 7REWARDS or Speedy Rewards loyalty members. Plus, Free Slurpee Day falls on July 11, a week after the holiday.

Watch for Arby's to have a holiday deal, such as BOGO-free sandwiches, for July 4.
Auntie Anne’s
Auntie Anne’s will likely celebrate the 4th of July with a discount on select items.

Expect the Chick-fil-A Code Moo game to return in 2024 and run during the month of July.
