Not only is this park a great trial run to see if your kids can hang at an amusement park, it also has a lot of little-kid rides and activities. In general, it’s a nice, slower pace than some of the more giant parks and resorts.

But back to that cost, though! Depending on whether you’re at Legloand Florida in Winterhaven, Legoland New York in Goshen, or Legoland California in Carlsbad, tickets can range from $75 -$100 for one person for one day. The Legoland website also has an offer for $29 kids tickets with select hotel packages which san save you 10% of on-site hotel stay, plus give your family early theme park access. Valid on stays through June 17, 2024.

3. Save up to $50 per ticket when you buy online instead of at the gate.

Right now, Legoland Florida ticket prices are $104 per adult online ($119.99 at the gate), kids tickets are $29 (with purchase of a full-priced adult ticket). Legoland California ticket prices are $79 per per person online but $129 at the gate.

4. Stay at a nearby hotel for up to 60% less when you book through Hotels.com.

Skip the Legoland hotels for your visit. You won't have any trouble finding hotels near Legoland California that are up to 60% cheaper, when you book it through Hotels.com. Here's an example of the savings:

5. Consider the Reserve ‘N’ Ride Pass if you know your kids can’t handle waiting in line.

The Reserve ‘N’ Ride Pass is only available at Legoland California. It’s a give and take because it’ll cost you extra to hold a spot in line, but it may be worth the money if your kids just can’t do lines.

Legoland is happy to give you almost instant access with the Ultimate pass, but it’s more expensive than a day pass itself. I recommend not spending more than the Express pass unless you have an unlimited budget.

• Express: Reduce your wait time by 25% for $35 per person.

• Deluxe: Reduce your wait time by 50% for $55 per person.

• Ultimate: Reduce your wait time by 90% for $100 per person.

6. Don’t bother with mini-golf and carnival games—they cost extra.

You can find all of the Legoland deals in the world but once your kids lay eyes on these carnival games, your budget can go out the window. Chances are good you can do a climbing wall and mini-golf somewhere else in your city for a bit cheaper. Focus on what Legoland has to offer that’s included in the price of your entrance ticket that’s not offered anywhere else.

7. Legoland Florida is overall cheaper than Legoland California.

From park entrance fees to Legoland hotel stays, you’ll spend roughly 15-25% less money visiting Legoland Florida, assuming you don’t have to pay extra to get there.

8. Use the Legoland California app to keep track of ride wait times.

Plan your day based on which rides have the shortest lines, set reminders for upcoming showtimes, and more with the mobile app.

9. Bring LEGO minifigures to trade with Legoland employees.

Similar to pin trading at Disney, you can ask to trade full minifigures with park staff.

Don’t spend too much on the minifigures you bring with you; shop at thrift stores. As long as the minifigure is whole, you can trade it. It doesn’t have to look good!

10. Get a free “1st Visit to Legoland” souvenir pin at Guest Relations or at the Legoland Hotel.

11. Don’t buy food at the California location; walk to Costco for pizza instead.

It’s only half a mile away. You may need a membership to eat at the Costco food court, but you can feed your whole family for a fraction of the price of food in the park.
